The Opportunity

The Investment Case

GPKL is targeting a capital raise of USD 5 million to fund the development of the Kanungu Gold Project — a fully licensed underground gold mining operation in Kanyantotogo Sub County, Kanungu District, Uganda (EL00264).

The project has been independently assessed to host an estimated 6 million+ ounces of gold across a 185 sq km exploration block. Using underground mining with CIP processing (97.5% recovery rate), management projects initial annual production of 396 kg of gold, generating gross revenues of approximately USD 19 million within the first 24 months of production.

Uganda has in recent years proved to be a favourable destination for gold mining investors, with a stable legislative framework, improving infrastructure, and a government committed to responsible resource development. The Kanungu block shares the same mineralised veins as the prolific Eastern Congo gold fields.
